Six venues will host workshops in the first week of October, as clubs from all sports are invited to find out the processes to applying for the appropriate grants.
The venues are as follows:
DUBLIN - Cusack Stand, Croke Park, 7-9pm, Monday 1 October
GALWAY - Institute for Lifecourse and Society, NUI Galway, 7-9pm, Monday 1 October
WATERFORD - WIT Arena, 7-9pm, Tuesday 2 October
LONGFORD - Longford Rugby Club, 7-9pm, Tuesday 2 October
DONEGAL - The Abbey Hotel Donegal, 7-9pm, Wednesday 3 October
KERRY - Institute of Technology Tralee, 7-9pm, Friday 5th October
Clubs must book their place here, and each club/organisation can only avail of two seats. All six events are expected to sell out, so bookings must be made in advance to avoid disappointment.
Clubs should also take note that the application portal is now open and will close at 5pm on Friday 19th October, 2018.
Any club or organisation looking to make an application, must be registered on the Department's OSCAR programme before 5pm on Friday 5th October, 2018. Full details can be found at https://www.sportscapitalprogramme.ie/
The FAI would encourage all grassroot clubs to avail of this funding portal and thank the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport, Minister Shane Ross and Minister of State Brendan Griffin for their support in financing projects around the country.
