Former Republic of Ireland midfielder Keith Andrews and current WNT player Jessica Ziu acted as ambassadors for the trophy visit to CBS Westland Row and St Joseph's NS, East Wall.
Pictured above are Keith and Jessica with students Manare and Eamane Bourradou, who helped create a fantastic atmosphere and setting to welcome the ambassadors to CBS Westland Row.
Keith, who was Ireland's player of the tournament at EURO 2012, could see how excited the kids were to get their photos taken with the trophy, which will also be on display at the National Football Exhibition and, of course, at the Qualifying Draw in Dublin's Convention Centre.
The hosting of the Qualifying Draw will also coincide with the launch of the National Football Exhibition at the Printworks, Dublin Castle, which will open to the public on Sunday, December 2. The Exhibition will be home to a number of elements with historical significance to Irish football.
Four tournament games will be hosted at the Aviva Stadium during UEFA EURO 2020 - the largest sporting event to ever be hosted in the country.
