Originally scheduled to take over Little Britain Street, the event had to be moved indoors to Aughrim Street Sports Hall due to weather conditions but that did not deter anyone from attending as over 100 kids turned up.

FAI CEO John Delaney dropped by and was joined by Minister of State for Tourism and Sport, Brendan Griffin, and Lord Mayor of Dublin, Nial Ring, to enjoy the fantastic set-up that included one-v-one cages, target practice walls, and a football freestyler.

Former Republic of Ireland captain Stephen Kelly and current WNT international Isibeal Atkinson were also in attendance, signing autographs, posing for selfies, and taking part in the various activities.

Dublin City Council and the Football Association of Ireland will hold two further Street Legends events at Mountjoy Square South (Thursday, November 29) and Commons Street (Saturday, December 1).

The hosting of the Qualifying Draw will also coincide with the launch of the National Football Exhibition at the Printworks, Dublin Castle, which will open to the public on Sunday, December 2. The Exhibition will be home to a number of elements with historical significance to Irish football.

Four tournament games will be hosted at the Aviva Stadium during UEFA EURO 2020 - the largest sporting event to ever be hosted in the country.
