FAI Cup: Aisling Annacotty travel to Lucan United

The draw, which was performed by former Republic of Ireland international Keith Fahey and FAI Vice President Noel Fitzroy, was performed at FAI HQ, with representatives from the clubs in attendance. 

Fahey was part of the St. Patrick's Athletic side which lifted the trophy in 2014 and also played for Bluebell United in the FAI Cup in 2017, in victories over Sheriff YC and Cabinteely. 

20 clubs were in the qualifying round draw, 16 intermediate clubs and four junior clubs; Ashling Annacotty, Glengad United, Regional United and St. Michael’s. Four teams, Cobh Wanderers, Crumlin United, Letterkenny Rovers and Killester Donnycarney, received a bye into the first round of the competition. 

The 2019 FAI Cup qualifying round draw in full:-

Glebe North v Midleton 
Lucan United v Aisling Annacotty
St. Michael's v Regional United
Newtown Rangers v Avondale United
Glengad United v Home Farm
UCC v Malahide United
Maynooth University Town v Rockmount 
St. Mochta's v Collinstown

Byes: Cobh Wanderers, Crumlin United, Letterkenny Rovers, Killester Donnycarney.

All ties set to be played the week ending Sunday, April 21.
