Donohue reflects on Ireland U15 season

Speaking to FAI TV, Donohoe, who has been in the role since 2016, said the past season has been arguably his best, highlighting victories over Hungary and impressive performances against Spain and The Netherlands.

Donohoe said: “International football is in a very good place in Ireland. I think that we are competing at a higher level than we did and our style of football has got better where our players are comfortable in possession.

“From my side, I think communication with the clubs whether its schoolboy clubs or League of Ireland clubs has improved so we’re all helping to make sure that the player is at the forefront of what we’re trying to achieve.”
