The club has been in existence for over 60 years and a large contingency travelled to AVIVA Stadium to celebrate their milestone and cheer on the Boys in Green.
Everton AFC have a strong community of volunteers that work very hard to ensure they continue to build and a develop a vibrant club. The management committee led by their Club Mark Officer Stephen Crowley ensured all the clubs standards off the field were up to scratch in order to achieve the Club Mark award.
FAI President Donal Conway was on hand to present the Club Mark Entry Level Award to the delegation. The club boasts the Denis Irwin Football Academy and Denis recently wrote to the club to show his support for their most recent award,
‘’Looking at the Club Mark criteria it is obvious to me the amount of hard work going on in the club, on and off the pitch. There are hours upon hours of hard work been done by Everton volunteers to ensure the players have the best possible environment to play in.’’
The FAI Club Mark is an Award for grassroots clubs based on how well the club is managed off the pitch. The journey challenges clubs to implement policies and procedures in line with best practice.
