Ireland WU19: Netherlands put six past Ireland

Ireland went into the game having already secured qualification to the Elite Round of qualification with a 3-0 win over Montenegro on Saturday. 

They went behind after 10 minutes after Moisa Van Koot rose highest to head in a corner for the hosts. Nikita Tromp doubled the lead on 28 minutes when her strike found the top left corner to give the home nation a two-goal cushion before the break.

Chasity Grant made it 3-0 six minutes after half-time with midfielder Dana Foederer making it four on 55 minutes.

Tromp notched her second of the game when she found space to net number five on 58 minutes. The Netherlands, who were battling out with Ireland to top the group, made it six on 84 minutes through an Ella Peddemors header.
