The Workship was part of a pan-European event with members of the FAI’s Intercultural Football Programme and FAI’s Womens Programme taking part..
Attendees from seven European countries were involved in sports at the grassroots as well as professional levels attended, including those working within municipal authorities, such as Dublin City Council as well as former players, such as Portuguese and Nigerian former international female players who gave inputs on their experiences as women in sport.
The German event is the latest that the FAI has been involved with since joining forces with SPIN Women earlier this year.
The new European SPIN Women project aims at increasing participation of migrant and minority women in and through sport.
