Lakewood Athletic FC will host the team’s matches in addition to their ongoing support of blind football. The club have applied for a grant through Cork County Council and purchased three football frames and the group will now be able to train regularly in preparation for a match against established frame football team from Dublin's Esker Celtic at Easter.
The FAI Football For All programme have plans to expand the number of teams in Ireland with a view to establishing competitive opportunities in 2020.
