In camp preparing for their 2022 UEFA Women's European Championship qualifier against Germany on Tuesday, December 1st, the WNT squad underwent a socially-distant caps presentation at their team hotel.
The tradition of a player receiving a cap to mark their international service goes back over 100 years and it is something that all players embrace.
While some members of the squad are familiar with this practice - Aine O'Gorman (104), Niamh Fahey (91) - it was a first experience for Courtney Brosnan, Eabha O'Mahony, Jamie Finn and Ellen Molloy, who all made their senior debuts in this campaign.
