Based on these new guidelines, the FAI now advises all stakeholders that the only football permitted from December 24th until further guidance from Government is as follows:
- SSE Airtricity League and Women’s National League football at adult level only
- Non-contact training in pods of 15 for all other footballers but only within their county of residence
- All other football activity – including assessments and trials – is prohibited until further notice
The FAI will remain in communication with Government regarding these guidelines and will update all affiliates at the earliest opportunity.
