Martin O'Neill's team will take on Netherlands - who are 14th in the FIFA World Rankings and coached by Danny Blind - for the 20th time in all competitions and the first since a friendly in 2006.
While they missed out on a place at EURO 2016, Netherlands are considered one of the world's top footballing nations, having won the European Championships in 1988 and three times been runners-up in the FIFA World Cup. They also boast several star players in their current squad.
Before that high-profile match, Ireland will host two 'Three' International Friendly games in March at Aviva Stadium against Switzerland (Friday, March 25) and Slovakia (Tuesday, March 29).
FAI Season Ticket holders will get the Slovakia game as a bonus on their package, while DUO tickets are now on sale for these two friendlies.
