Colin O'Brien's side were beaten 2-1 by the Netherlands in their opening game on Tuesday while the Turks beat Austria 3-0.
"There is no doubt that Turkey are a decent side. They have a different style to the Dutch but they do play a European style and try to play out from back," said the Irish coach.
"This will also have a different challenge in that they have more physical players than the Dutch and also they press differently to how Holland do.
"We've worked on different ways to build up our attacks and we will see how the players took that on board."
The Irish coach is delighted with how his side have shaped up since coming together at the weekend and feel that they will benefit enormously from this week's experience.
"The challenge has been excellent this week and there is a lot for the players to learn from being tested against strong teams like those we are facing," said O'Brien.
"There are always areas to improve upon from every game but when we looked back on Tuesday game we felt we limited the Dutch defensively and we created a few chances ourselves so we just need to be a bit more efficient taking those opportunities."
