
The launch took place at the Nenagh & District Chamber of Commerce in the presence of Cathaoirleach of Tipperary Seamus Hanafin, as well as FAI CEO John Delaney and FAI Development Officers James Scott (Tipperary North) and David Lenane (Tipperary South).
"I'm delighted to bring the Festival of Football and AGM to the county where I grew up for what promises to be a memorable week that showcases the great work being done in football development in Tipperary," said Delaney.
"This will be a special summer with the Republic of Ireland team competing at EURO 2016 in France and I'm sure the entire country will be gripped in football fever. So there will be no better time to connect with the officials, administrators, coaches, volunteers and players at grassroots level who help the game to grow and develop.
"Since 2007 we have had tremendous success bringing the Festival of Football and AGM to various counties and we very much look forward to coming to Tipperary in July, where we will build towards our AGM on July 30."
