Now in its 14th year, the Festival was initially developed as a cross-border event for boys but now comprises of over 100 teams involving boys, girls, powerchair, amputee, frame football, Special Olympics and the Irish Paralympic team.
This year's event will see the sixth edition of the girls (Under 8 - U13) Soccer Festival being held to promote underage girl's football, while the boys section has been expanded to include U8-U11 and U13's.
The Festival, which is run by Fingal County Council in conjunction with the Football Association of Ireland, is not an elite tournament but a community event. The focus is on fun and opportunity for young people to enjoy the sport and meet people from different backgrounds, cultures and religions.
It is also a chance for managers, coaches and parents to learn about the FAI's Player Development Plan and the new approach to football being promoted and implemented across the country.
This year teams will be travelling from all electoral areas of Fingal and will also see teams from South Dublin, Bray and Galway take part in this diverse event.
