Head Coach Jason Donohue has been pleased with how the Irish youngsters have reviewed their own performances in yesterday's 0-0 draw and is looking for them to build on that tomorrow.

“When we looked back on the game we were of the opinion that we had played very well in the second half. Their keeper made one very good save. It was a good performance," said Donohue.

"The lads looked back on aspects of the game in their units - attackers, midfielders and defenders. It was very a very good exercise and you can see that the players know quite a lot which was probably more than we expected at their age.

“Our feeling is that we need to be a little more compact and a bit more comfortable on the ball in midfield and maybe we moved the ball a little too slowly and the opposition tried to set traps for us. We’ve worked on that today so we’re looking forward to seeing how they respond.

"We let them rest after the game and did two recovery sessions today. We’ll make changes so that those who didn’t start first game. We’ve given extensive treatment to Cian Kelly and Jack Funge trying to get them ready. The medical team are working really hard to have them available."
