Trevor Lovell has carefully picked a panel of players from the eight FAI/ETB centres around the country to compete against the Republic of Ireland Under 19's Home-Based Selection in a unique game.
It will be the first time that the course has created a representative side and they will be closely monitored by Ireland U19 head coach Tom Mohan as well as several high profile scouts in Monday night's game.
The players, who will come from as far north as Donegal Town and as far south as Cobh Ramblers, have each excelled in the eight respective centres around the country, where they are making strides on and off the pitch.
The FAI/ETB course caters for players looking to combine football and educational development, through the centres in Castlebar, Cork, Dublin and Limerick.
The course delivers a programme that focuses on the areas of health, fitness, business and computers, helping participants to prepare for FETAC Level 5 qualification and secure entry to third level education.
From a football perspective, the course has helped over 100 players successfully forge careers in the SSE Airtricity League, Continental Tyres Women's National League, and in top-flight Leagues around the world - while four graduates were called up to the Republic of Ireland men's senior squad this year.
Lovell hopes that the players selected for Monday's game in FAINTC will make the most of their opportunity because, in essence, that is the ethos of the FAI/ETB course.
