Eight sides qualified for the quarter finals as thirty-two games were played at the Castletroy facility.
In Group One, Limerick Desmond progressed into the final eight despite a defeat to the Midlands outfit.
Last year’s finalists, Galway, made it three wins from three – overcoming an excellent SDFL side – and making a statement in the process.
Athlone and Kildare will also be represented in the quarter-finals after securing impressive wins against Wexford and Cavan-Monaghan respectively.
Cork and Sligo-Leitrim topped groups five and six, while strong Dublin showings from both the NDSL and the DDSL ensured they claimed the last two spots available in tomorrow’s key clashes.
The Dublin and District Schoolboys League are searching for their thirtieth Kennedy Cup triumph and have yet to concede a goal; scoring eleven in the process.
Tomorrow’s quarter finals will see the DDSL face Athlone, the NDSL versus Sligo-Leitrim, Kildare battle Galway and Limerick Desmond tackle Cork.
