It is the first time the team will play in 2018, as they return to action after two international friendlies at home to Poland last November.
Speaking after his squad announcement, Donohue revealed he has been keeping an eye on players since the Poland games.
"We've had some assessments and watched plenty of players. We have made seven changes from the last squad, giving plenty of players in form the chance to impress."
The quality of players in the SSE Airtricity League Under-15 National League has also helped Donohue pick players for the Cyprus games he admitted.
"All of the home-based players are playing in the Under-15 National League. The gap is closer now to international football, because they are playing at an elite level."
The first match between the two sides takes place on Tuesday, March 6 in Longford's City Calling Stadium. Kick-off is at 19:00.
