Founded in 1970 as Granville Boys, when a group of young boys from Granville Park in Blackrock formed the team, the Blitz involved boys and girls from the area taking part in the event.
Over Saturday and Sunday, children took part in tournaments from Under-5s up to Under-13s, with medals handed out at the end by FAI Chief Executive John Delaney.
The club started a girls team three years ago and it has since boomed. Granada now have development teams up to Under-10s, and there is over 100 girls at the club which represents huge growth in such a short amount of time.
