
Tom Mohan's side topped their Qualifying Group following wins over Faroe Islands, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Netherlands in Longford and now have their sights set on reaching the finals.
Drawn into Group 1, Ireland are top seeds and will travel to Russia to take on the hosts, as well as Azerbaijan and Romania, with games kicking off in March 2019.
Mohan also learned who his team will face in the Qualifying Round for their 2019/20 campaign with a trip to Austria, where Gibraltar and Switzerland will also be involved.
Meanwhile, Colin O'Brien's Under-17s will act as hosts for their Qualifying Round games in November 2019, as Andorra, Israel, and Montenegro take part.
