Peamount United have been runners-up in the last two years but are now chasing a domestic double having retained the Women's National League this season.
TEAM NEWS
Cork City will be without both Kate O'Donovan and Leah Murphy, while Peamount United are missing Louise Corrigan and Louise Masterson.
QUOTES
Cork City Manager Ronan Collins
"It’s great to be involved in the showcase event for the women’s game. Now we’ve got here we aim to put on a show.
"The growth of the coverage has been fantastic and the squad have really enjoyed the build-up over the week.
"There is a good relationship between Peamount United and Cork City so it is great to meet them in the final. We will have to put that friendship on hold for 95 minutes or so."
Peamount United Manager James O'Callaghan
"We are in for a tough game against a well-organised team with a good mix of youth and experience who have plenty of Cup Final experience; indeed winning it in the 2017.
"They play a possession-based game, who like to play through the thirds and are clinical on set-pieces. We are really going to have to be on our game if we are to lift the Cup.
"It’s brilliant to make our third FAI Cup Final in a row, great for all the volunteers who work so hard in the club. But it’s such a pity family members of the players and all the members of Peamount can’t attend the game, hopefully we can bring the Cup back to Peamount and make everyone proud."
