With a win and a defeat to date, the Republic of Ireland Women's Under 17's face a crucial tie with France this evening. Following a positive start thanks to a come-from-behind win over Hungary in the first game, the Girls in Green went down in the second game 1-0 to Czech Republic with a last-gasp goal breaking Irish hearts.
Heading into this evening's game, Ireland will be pressing for a win to have a chance of claiming the top spot in the group, and ultimately qualification to this summer's finals tournament in Belarus.
